Painted by Ria Vijayan

The mask was an ‘oblique’ addition to a bunch of clay models made by the children of Ananda Sagara, a children’s home in Bangalore. The clay models were up for sale as part of a fundraising effort, and the mask was intended as a boost to the process.

Made of clay and fiber clip reinforcement, it was molded on my face, and left to dry there overnight (pics below).

The final design is the work of my friend Ria Vijayan.
